Congratulations are in order for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor!
The actress on Monday shared the happy news of her pregnancy on social media. In the candid photo, the ‘Gully Boy’ actress can be seen in a hospital with Ranbir Kapoor, wearing a cap. Alia had a big smile on her face as she looked at the monitor, during her ultrasound, which is covered with a heart emoticon. She captioned the photo, “Our baby ….. coming soon.”
The happy news of Alia’s pregnancy comes just over two months after the couple tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony at their Bandra home. Ranbir and Alia wed in a private ceremony on April 14, surrounded by their family and closest friends.
While the news has come as a surprise to many, it now seems that Ranbir hinted at a baby on its way during his recent ‘Shamshera’ promotions. When quizzed about how much more work he will do post-marriage, he said that he has to make a family and will also have the chance to do lots of work.
“Abhi mujhe bahot kaam karna hai sir. Abhi mujhe family banani hai, unke liye kaam karna hai. Pehle mai khudke liye kaam karraha tha. Nahi nahi, abhi mai bahot kaam karunga,” he said.
