It’s hard to believe Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson kissed in costume during a sketch on Saturday Night Live six whole months ago. Right there on our television screens!
But time flies, and here we are, half a year later, in many ways just starting to learn about the couple whose Rite Aid runs and Staten Island date nights have been the talk of social media since that fateful rollercoaster ride last Halloween.
Weeks after making their romance Instagram official, and on the heels of troubling drama with her ex-husband Kanye West, Kim is sharing more about her relationship with Pete in a sit-down interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts.
So, how serious is it, really, between Kim and Pete?
According to Kim, she’s in it for the long haul. “I mean, I am, like, a relationship kind of girl. For sure,” she says in a sneak peek of the special.
“And I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them.”
Kim is also talking about how freeing this relationship has been for her in the wake of her divorce from Ye. “Obviously, I want to take my time,” she explains. “But I am very happy and very content. And it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace.”
The rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is just as happy about it. “Pete’s great,” Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner, says in the preview, adding, “He’s a really nice guy.”
“He just makes her laugh,” Khloé Kardashian echoes.
“She just laughs all the time.”
