Karisma Kapoor took to Instagram to share pictures from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding ceremony. In the picture, she shared that Alia’s Kalire fell on her and the excitement was clearly visible on Lolo’s face.
For the unversed, the Kalire tradition is performed at Punjabi weddings. The bride shakes the Kalire over the heads of the single women of the family. The one who gets the Kalire dropped on their head is considered to be the next in the marriage queue.
In the pictures, Karisma looked pretty as she wore an organza saree with embroidery on the border teamed with an orange-peach blouse at the function.
