Cardi B recently opened up about Selena Gomez’s possible retirement from the music industry, and the WAP singer had some advice for the Rare singer. Scroll down to see what Cardi said.

After Selena Gomez hinted that she may retire soon from music, pop singer Cardi B is weighing in on her decision, and the singer is totally against it! If you missed it, Selena, 28, opened up about that the thought of retirement had crossed her mind in her recent Vogue interview.

“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously,” she shared. “I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, ‘What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?’ ‘Lose You to Love Me’ I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people, it still wasn’t enough.” Selena added, “I think the next time I do an album it’ll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music.”

After reading Selena‘s statement, Cardi took to social media to tell her there’s no way she was giving up. “I don’t think Selena should retire. She makes good music & her fans love her. I think she needs one more Era. A edgy one that no one ever seen her as. I would love to give her some ideas,” she tweeted.

Cardi went on, giving some support to Selena after a few haters said that she should retire because she’s not an amazing singer. “I like Selena tho. I defend her cause she is such a sweetheart in person. Us celebs get picked apart all the time but she is just too sweet to go thru that. If she wants to leave ,leave cause you want too not cause of these fuckers,” she added.
