A day after his 56th birthday, Aamir Khan shared his last post on social media as he bid adieu to Twitter and Instagram.
Aamir Khan never fails to surprise his fans. Be it with his interesting projects, his onscreen looks or his social media posts, he always has something in store for his followers. However, his recent tweet has left his fans shocked as Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist has decided to quit social media. This announcement came after he expressed his gratitude towards his massive fan following for their best wishes on his birthday on March 14. Calling it as his last post, Aamir stated that he has decided to drop the pretence of being active on social media.
Sharing a long post on each of his social media handles, the Taare Zameen Par actor did assure his fans that he will continue to interact with them through the official handle of his production house Aamir Khan Productions. He wrote, “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In another news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. Lots of love, always”.
Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in Advait Chandan’s much talked about Laal Singh Chaddha which will feature the actor in a turbaned look. The movie, which happens to be the Bollywood remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump will feature Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead and will mark their third collaboration after 3 Idiots and Talaash.
