Siddhant Chaturvedi tests positive for Covid-19; confirms the news on social media assuring he’s feeling fine

B-town star Siddhant Chaturvedi who gained recognition with his extraordinary performance in Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy shared some devastating news on his social media. The actor took to his Instagram handle to confirm that he has indeed tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. While breaking the unfortunate news, he reassured his fans that he is ‘feeling fine’ and trying to stay positive while he quarantines at home. The actor’s confirmation comes only an hour after sources close to the star broke the news.

Recently several actors and directors tested positive for the virus including, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Manoj Bajpayee, and Tara Sutaria also tested positive for the virus. In the message posted by the Siddhant, the actor thanked his fans for all the love and support they showered on him and further explained how he is feeling well and ‘self-quarantining at home’. He told his fans that after consulting with doctors, he is following the necessary precautions. The star also added that he is staying ‘positive’ and ‘tackling’ the situation heads on.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor was prepping for his horror-comedy film Phone Bhoot alongside Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter. The film is the trio’s first collaboration and is helmed by Gurmmeet Singh. The film is co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. A video of the star hanging out with Ishaan on the sets of the film was released only two days ago.
