He shared, “I got a call and it said Ralph Lauren is putting together a little group of people to go over to the Olympics.” This invitation held significant sentimental value for Nick, as Ralph Lauren had played a pivotal role in his life.
Nick revealed that Ralph Lauren had been instrumental in various key moments of his life, notably his wedding with Priyanka Chopra. He said, “Dressed me and my wife for a wedding; we met because we were paired together at the Met Gala years ago with Ralph Lauren.” This connection added a personal touch to his participation in the Olympics, making the event even more special for him.
Nick also expressed his genuine enthusiasm for the Olympics, stating that it is his favorite event. During the show, Nick also touched on being affectionately called “Jiju” by his fans in India. He explained, “Jiju means elder sister’s husband, so effectively I’m the older brother to India.” He expressed his love for this endearing term, embracing the affection from his Indian fans.
