The Safety & Security Operations Committee (SSOC) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has started an investigation into the destruction of some seats at a stadium hosting the ongoing FIFA Arab Cup 2021. The SSOC said this in a statement on Twitter Saturday in response to some video clips circulating on social media, showing the destruction of seats. The committee said it has launched an investigation to find the violators and take legal action against them. Further, the SSOC has called on fans to show the importance of sportsmanship, abide by laws and preserve the sports facilities they frequent to encourage their teams and inspire them the required enthusiasm.
