BTS electrified the American Music Awards stage in Las Vegas, sweeping three major honors, Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer for Swim, and Best Male K-Pop Artist, in their first collective U.S awards appearance since completing military service. Their comeback album Arirang continues to dominate charts, while their world tour packs stadiums worldwide.
RM set the tone in their acceptance speech: “ARMYs, we made it once again. Thank you. It’s an honor to have this precious award once again, after everybody’s done their military service… our biggest thanks and gratitude go to the ARMYs all over the world. You stood by us for the past 13 years, thank you so much.”
J-Hope followed with heartfelt appreciation for fans embracing Arirang, while Jimin closed by thanking audiences for their passion on tour. V added encouragement during the Song of the Summer win: “To everyone out there who keeps swimming no matter what, we send you our love and support. So keep swimming.”
This triple victory lifts BTS’s trophy count to 14, solidifying their legacy as one of the most decorated acts in AMA history. Their triumph also highlights the enduring power of fan – driven awards, where ARMYs continue to propel the group to global milestones.
