Patriot is already rewriting box office history before its release. The Mahesh Narayanan-directed film, which stars Mammootty and Mohanlal, has generated more than Rs. 3.5 crore through pre-sales and is approaching Rs. 9 crore in international revenue before its May 1, 2026 theatrical release.
The film achieved its first milestone when it reached the Rs. 3.5 crore mark after 32 hours and 16 minutes, which made it the fourth fastest movie to achieve this record in Kerala history. The project had already reached Rs. 3 crore in 25 hours before the network’s most recent update.
International demand has been equally strong. The overseas advance sales reached USD 200,000 before any Kerala booking opened, while reports confirmed movie traction in the Middle East, Europe, and North America. The film’s patriotic theme combined with its powerful cast which includes Kuchako Boban, Fahad Fasil, Nayanthara, and Rajendra will create a strong connection to audiences.
Patriot will achieve one of the largest opening days because it has already secured record pre-sales and received positive initial feedback and generated worldwide viewer interest.
