Ali Fazal to Play One of The Leads in Next Hollywood Film

Bollywood actor Ali Fazal is on a roll! The actor has signed yet another Hollywood project. The actor came on board for Bill Guttentag’s film, Afghan Dreamers. Ali will be seen as one of the leads in the film, which recently went on floors.

Ali Fazal expressed excitement over signing his next Hollywood film. “Excited and humbled to be sharing notes and being directed by Bill, who has an impeccable body of work. Afghan Dreamers is a very important story to be told and I’m happy to be part of its cinematic retelling,” he said.

Afghan Dreamers will shed light on the story of a team of Afghan girls who traveled across the world and participated in competitions, garnered global media attention, and even met leading politicians from across the globe. It is the true story of a program that was started by an Afghan tech entrepreneur, Roya Mahboob.

The role of Roya Mahboob will be played by Nikohl Boosheri.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR ALI FAZAL?

On the work front, Ali Fazal will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya with Tabu. The film is based on Amar Bhushan’s espionage novel Escape to Nowhere. The project will stream on Netflix later this year.

Post that, Ali will be seen in the Hollywood film Kandahar with Gerard Butler. The actor will be seen playing one of the lead roles in the film, which is directed by Ric Roman Waugh. The film is slated for release in 2023.
