Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second son on Sunday. Amid all the buzz about their newborn, grandfather Randhir Kapoor revealed in a chat that his newest grand child apparently resembles Taimur Ali Khan.
A cheer ran through the entire Pataudi and Kapoor family on Sunday as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were blessed with a second child, a baby boy. After son Taimur Ali Khan, Kareena and Saif welcomed their newest family members with joy on Sunday and the entire family was over the moon, including maternal grandfather, Randhir Kapoor. Randhir even went on to reveal to Etimes that Kareena and Saif’s second son apparently does not resemble them. He shared that he has heard that the newborn looks ‘like his elder brother, Taimur.’
In a chat with Etimes, Kareena’s father Randhir said that he mostly thinks that all kids look alike. However, on being asked specifically about who the newborn resembles, Randhir told the portal that he looks like Taimur. Sharing his thoughts, he said, “Mujhe toh saare bachche ek jaise lagte hain (I think all babies look alike).” Further, on being asked about who the little Pataudi resembles, the senior star said, “Well, they were all saying there that he looks like his elder brother Taimur.”
He had previously revealed that Taimur was ‘delighted’ to welcome his baby brother and that Kareena and the baby were both doing fine. Saif Ali Khan also had issued a statement yesterday after his wife gave birth to their second child. He shared Kareena and the baby’s health update and also thanked everyone for the good wishes. Saif said, “We have been blessed with a baby boy. Mom and baby are safe and healthy. Thank you to our well wishers for their love and support.”
Meanwhile, fans of the couple have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the newborn as well as know the name of Kareena and Saif’s second baby. The couple’s family members, as well as close friends, showered them with love on social media as the news came out about their second child.
