She married graphic artist Peter White in 2005, and together they have two children, daughter Willow Katherine, born in 2008, and son Tommy Francis, born in 2013. MOnaghan often highlights the importance of keeping her home life grounded while building a career that spans films like Gone Baby Gone, Source Code, and the Mission: Impossible franchise.
Her recent performance in The White Lotus showcased her versatility. Monaghan admitted she was nervous about the role at first, but praised creator Mike White’s vision and recalled filming in Thailand as a special experience. She described Jaclyn as “fun. Colorful, and vivacious,” a character very different from her past work.
Beyond acting, Monaghan revealed that Gabriel Gracia Marquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of her favorite books. Looking ahead, she will play Tessa in season three of Your Friends & Neighbors and stay as a hockey coach in a Netflix series set to premiere in 2027.
