Daniel Randcliffe and Rose Byrne headline this year’s Tony Awards nominations, bringing Hollywood star power to Broadway’s biggest night. Radcliffe earns recognition for his moving one-man performance in Every Brilliant Thing, while Byrne secures her nod for Noel Coward’s sharp comedy Fallen Angels.
Lesley Manville, John Lithgow, and Layton Williams also join the nominee list. Manville and Mark Strong deliver commanding turns in Oedipus, Lithgow embodies Roald Dahl in Giant, and William adds comic flair in Titanique. Their Olivier Award wins highlight their success across both West End and Broadway stages.
Two productions dominate with 12 nominations each: the musical adaptation of The Lost Boys and the stage version of Apple TV’s Schmigadoon. Other contenders include fresh revivals of Ragtime, Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, and the cult classic The Rocky Horror Show.
The ceremony, often described as the U.S counterpart to the Olivier Awards, will light up New York on June 7, hosted by singer Pink. With Hollywood names, West End transfers, and daring revivals all competing, the 2026 Tonys promise a dazzling celebration of theatre’s creative energy.
