Shah Rukh khan and Deepika Padukone finish Pathan’s Mumbai shoot; John Abraham to join them in Middle east?

Since fans of Shah Rukh Khan spotted him shooting in Mumbai for his spy thriller Pathan, many have been waiting for King Khan to announce it himself. Amid all the buzz coming about the film, the latest report claims that Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone have apparently wrapped up shooting for first two schedules of the film in Mumbai and now, the filmmaker Siddhant Anand would be heading to join a 10-member team in the Middle East to scout for apt locations for the action scenes shoot.

As per a report in Mid-Day, Shah Rukh and Deepika have apparently completed the Mumbai shooting schedule of Pathan and will be heading to the Middle East for the action scenes shoot. Reportedly, the scenes shot in Mumbai have been emotional ones. The report further claimed that Siddharth Anand and his team will look for locations in UAE, Dubai and other places in the Middle East for action scenes between John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan. As per the national daily’s report, John will be joining Deepika and Shah Rukh for his first schedule in the Middle East.

A source quoted to the daily, “A stylised chase sequence with Shah Rukh and John will be shot in Abu Dhabi. The team started their recce from the UAE capital, where they visited Liwa Oasis and Ferrari World, the first Ferrari-themed park in the world. In Dubai, they will visit the Business Bay, which is the modern financial district. They are also planning an elaborate sequence at the architectural landmark, Meydan Bridge. The site served as a backdrop in Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol.” The same source also mentioned that the emotional scenes between Deepika and Shah Rukh were filmed at YRF studios and that they are playing RAW agents in the film.

The source also claimed that Dimple Kapadia is also a part of the film and will be seen as Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika’s department boss. The report mentioned that if the recce in the Middle East goes well, the film’s production team will reportedly set up a ‘bio bubble’ for shoot to begin by mid-February. It was also mentioned by source that, “This will be John’s first schedule of Pathan; he plays the antagonist.”

Meanwhile, amid all the buzz about Pathan, Shah Rukh recently made his way to the capital city of India, New Delhi for an event. Deepika also confirmed doing Pathan with Shah Rukh in a recent interview and since then, fans have been over the moon about seeing them back together on the screen.
