The Online Chess Kids Championship is an interesting opportunity set forth for young kids who are enthusiastic about chess, taking them out of their comfort zone and pushing the boundaries of what kids can do.
The rapid/blitz-rated games tournament comprises one minute games played for a duration of 1 hour where participants will play their opponents within the ranking system, there’s also a limit set for each game up to 5 minutes so there is a maximum time allowed for any game irrespective of the number of games.
Game Scoring System:
- Loss: +0
- Draw: +1
- Win: +2
After one hour of the game, the last three players to develop the highest score are the ones that will be declared the winners. The organizers have the discretion to change the format, and they will inform registered participants of the final rules and any format changes.
Children between the ages of five and sixteen are designed to participate in this online chess competition. All the participants must be well versed with the rules of chess and how every piece moves.
Participation Guidelines:
- To take part, the entry fee charged must be paid and registration done.
- Comprehensive rules as well as instructions regarding the event will be provided after the registration is complete.
- Participate in the competition using the platform provided by the organizer.
Rewards:
- The First three winners do not pay an entry fee in the following tournament.
- The e-certificates are awarded to all the participants.
