Moi Virundhu: Celebrate World Food Day with a Biryani Feast

Participate in Moi Virundhu – A Biryani Festival! Help On Hunger, an NGO in Chennai, arranges this interesting food-related event. It provides food to the hungry and homeless in the city. This event is to commemorate the fifth time we have celebrated world food day consecutively. This time raising Food Security Awareness while giving you a tasty opportunity to support the community.

Eat to Feed: A Unique Initiative

At Moi Virundhu, not only does every plate of our delicious biryani leave you asking for more but also helps feed 7 homeless or less privileged people in Chennai within the parameters of 15 minutes. This year, we focused on the theme “Eat to Feed where the hungry are” in our event. It emphasizes the truth that “help begins at home” for food security. Thus by ordering one of the most popular dishes from the city’s culinary fare – the biryani, you are helping for a cause that is working towards a better tomorrow for the underprivileged. We can quite literally convert a simple act of having a meal into an act of feeding those in need, one plate at a time.

This year’s Moi Virundhu event promises an exhilarating show of entertainment with a host of entertainers coming along. This event will therefore also be marked with live band performances & mimicry, It is also helpful to increase the fun that comes with eating. If you love music, comedy or just want some biryani, this event is worth attending for all. Come Join the celebration and enjoy the fun and festivities!
