Brad Pitt’s Absence at Zahara’s Graduation Sparks Family Buzz

The Jolie-Pitt family drama continues to unfold, showing no signs of cooling down. This time, the spotlight falls on Zahara, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who recently made headlines after dropping her father’s surname during her college commencement ceremony. While Angelina proudly attended the event with her children, Brad Pitt was noticeably absent.

According to TMZ, Brad Pitt neither contacted Zahara nor showed up to celebrate her achievement. Sources added that Jolie and family have always supported Zahara throughout her four-year journey at Spelman College.

Zahara, now a Bachelors of Arts graduate in Psychology, reportedly removed “Pitt” from her name despite being listed as Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt on the college’s official program. Her decision wasn’t entirely new back in 2023, when she joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, she introduced herself simply as Zahara Marley Jolie.

Interestingly, Zahara isn’t the only sibling to distance herself from the Pitt surname. Shiloh has filed a petition to legally change her name, Vivienne goes by Vivienne Jolie in her theatre credits, and Madox publicly dropped “Pitt” while working as an assistant director on his mother’s film Couture.

As the Jolie-Pitt family continues to evolve, Zhara’s milestone marks more than just academic success – it reflects a growing sense of independence and identity among Angelina’s children.
