During a recent interview, new mom Gigi Hadid disclosed that she’s never injected anything into her face as she’s too much of a control freak.
Gigi Hadid, who recently welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Khai with Zayn Malik, is responding to the rumours of getting plastic surgery and fillers done because of how her face has changed over the years. During a segement for Vogue titled Beauty Secrets via Just Jared, the 25-year-old supermodel confessed how people assumed her nose looked different in her ‘then’ and ‘now’ snapshots.
Hadid explained that when she looks back at her first red carpets, at a time when she didn’t have makeup artists, she herself would do her own makeup. Khai’s supermom disclosed how nowadays, people pull up Gigi’s past pictures and compare them with her recent photos, saying, ‘Oh, Gigi’s nose looks different in these pictures than now.’ Moreover, regarding her face, people would add, ‘This has changed on Gigi.’ According to Hadid, it’s “the power of makeup” as she’s never done anything to her face.
As for the claims that she has fillers in her face, Gigi stated, “People think I do fillers on my face and that’s why my face is round. I have had cheeks since I was born. No, for those wondering, I’ve never injected anything into my face.” However, Hadid made sure to add that she’s so happy for everyone to do whatever they want that makes them happy, feel more comfortable and good about themselves.
Gigi concluded, “Me personally, it terrifies me. I feel I’m too much of a control freak. I’m like, ‘What if it goes wrong?'”
Guess that puts the plastic surgery claims to rest once and for all!
