Who Is Nour Hajjar?
Nour Hajjar has established a strong footing for himself in the Middle Eastern comedy world. A Lebanese stand-up comedian and actor, he gained fame with his hugely successful comedy specials “Meit Shabb” (2019) and “Selloum w Hayye” (2020). Echoing the concerns of so many people, everywhere.
There are circulated videos of him performing all over the globe, in major cities from Europe to the Middle East. He also performed as a headline act at the prestigious Dubai comedy festival showing his rising power in regional comedy.
Nour is also known for being the face of the pioneering web series Stand-Up Baladi, Lebanon’s very first Lebanese stand up comedy series that sparked more than half a million views online. His political satire and comic commentary on life in Lebanon went viral on social media, making him the voice of Lebanese youths.
Having toured previous shows “Meit Shabb” and then Godzilla (selling over 5,000 tickets), Nour has now sold out his new hour Dawa Ahmar across the country and -exclusive to BAHRAIN- his headline show will be on Saturday.
