Summary
En Tholil Romance is a tragic romance of a Tamil drama film with deep respect for the feelings of love, trust and reconciliation. The story has its main protagonist Umashankar (Ashok Selvan) who is an assistant director pursuing his dreams in the cinema industry. Things take an unusual turn when he falls head over heels for Leo (Avantika Mishra) who is a straight forward and an independent female.
But there is a huge misunderstanding in their relationship because of their friend Umashankar’s friend, Saranya and Prashant’s affair that leads to an unexpected pregnancy. Leo assumes the blame to be on Umashankar which brings about despair and hatred among the two partners.
The acting range of the cast saw experienced actors like Oorvasi, M.S. Bhaskar, Azhagam Perumal who also provide realism along with humor to the film. Combining Balaji Kesavan’s direction, Nivas Prasanna’s music, and the mind-bending plot, it is a great film about love, loss, and redemption where the title itself speaks of romance.
